We began as a small circle of researchers frustrated by opaque, upfront-fee "publication mills" that promised much and delivered little. We wanted to build the opposite — a service that earns its fee only when a paper is genuinely accepted, and that treats every manuscript with the care its author put into the underlying work.

CiteWise Research is a research consultancy: we support scholars, research students and academic institutions across research methodology, academic guidance and publication. That covers help shaping a research project, drafting the paper, choosing between a journal and a conference, and carrying the submission through review — guiding manuscripts through the IEEE, Elsevier, Springer, Wiley and Taylor & Francis ecosystems toward Scopus- and SCI-indexed venues.

Our own background is in computer science and artificial intelligence, which shapes how we work: we pair technical understanding of the subject with one-to-one mentorship rather than handing back an edited file and an invoice. We are a small team by choice, because the alternative is the volume model we set out to avoid.

Quality is not negotiable, transparency is not optional, and your success is the only success worth charging for. Our aim is to help build a research ecosystem researchers can actually trust — which means telling you when a journal is wrong for your paper, when your argument is not yet ready, and when the honest answer is that you do not need us.
